It sometimes pay to get diversification from the market. I analyse a few ETFs that are worth investing and another few that are worth avoiding. Article originally published at Master Investor Magazine March 2019 Issue 48 p. 34-40.

The Global X Longevity Thematic ETF is well managed and has achieved better returns than the S&P 500 – and for lower levels of risk – since its incorporation less than four years ago.

It may be better to avoid the AI Powered Equity ETF, especially at a time when economic conditions are deteriorating and small capitalisation stocks are expected to come under pressure.

There are a few themes in the ETF world that are worth investing in, but not all are good enough, at least not at all times. This month, I take a look into a few different ETFs and analyse them on my monthly column The Macro Investor at The Master Investor Magazine.
